The UV-Meter Silver Line is a high quality UV measuring instrument.
It is used for the measurement of the intensity of UV light.
All measurements are expressed in mW/cm2 in order to compare light sources or to check uniformity of the light emission.
Typical application fields are the control of units for the exposure of diazo, polymer, chromaline and daylight films in the graphic arts industry, suntan equipment, sterilisation units and other fields of photo bioIogy.
Special feature:
In order to save battery energy, the UV-Meter Silver Line will turn off automatically after one minute.

The display readings are fictitiously. The basic setting is done by means of a potentiometer.

The probe-type sensor of the UV-Meter can withstand max. 110° C / 132° F for up to 10 seconds. The temperature of the housing should not exceed 45° C / 122° F.
Calibration:
In order to keep its full function and precision it is recommended to have re-calibration done once per year. Re-calibration will also be necessary after change of battery. Ongoing, PTB traceable calibration with certificate
